I actually do love everything about the Cave restaurant also known as Kappadocia. Kappadocia is situated in Wuse 2 not so far from Art tech district. Its a really nice place for a fine dinning experience. It was a special occasion for me and I was looking at a nice place to mark it. I had a different restaurant in mind somewhere around maitama but then I remembered Kappadocia and all the fuss about it and decided to give it a try. Reservations were made by phone calls and it was so easy speaking with the lady at the other end. They probably should run their Reservations using apps like Dine NG etc. I got a text informing me I can't wear certain outfits to the restaurant, wasn't a problem for me this time. From the entrance of the place, I completely loved the experience. The cave dining was actually in fact spectacular to be very honest. We sat downstairs and was about to order our meals when we were informed there was a higher floor which was nice.
The food and drink was really great but not cheap and the most amazing part of the experience is the service, the waiters were really amazing. The music was also very well suited for the mood and ambience of this place. I really loved my visit to the cave restaurant and I'll recommend for every one looking for something spectacular in and different in Abuja.

It was indeed a unique and rare visual experience for a restaurant.

The interior was a 10, the artistic illusion of an actual cave was intriguing.

I found the lightning comforting as it set a mood for relaxation. The lantern shaped light fixtures were very impressive.

I loved how the cave inspiration was utilized even to the air conditioner which the body was roughly textured.

The music was great and kept at a volume which would give a guest extra feel of calm.

However, there were some disappointing aspects of the restaurant and it service for me.

First, close to the water wall, you have a few swamps of black tiny flies or mosquitoes which made guest uncomfortable.

Again, the servers seemed stressed, they kept on mixing customers orders and at a point had to announce who ordered for a glass of Long Island. Which happened to be my drink however on the menu the name of what I ordered was completely different.

Inside the restaurant was smoky from the closeness of the kitchen to the eating space of guests. There is no proper ventilation so they had to open the only door which was the exit but it was not sufficient. My eyes were getting watery and I kept coughing it was not comfortable at all.

Also I would hope that in the future the menu would offer more options.

Finally , asides these It is a great place for all occasions, a perfect spot for couples, family, kids and for hosting events.

Nice, cozy and has great food. However, it's a tad above the usual restaurant price. So, go ready!

Kapadoccia Restaurant which is also known as Cave Restaurant is located in Abuja. The restaurant has the ambiance of a cave with the statue of apes that would greet you by the entrance. The interior has walls like a cave with hanging lanterns as lightings.

The place is well kept and beautiful. The sitting arrangements are very organised and well spaced. Some of the tables are for people who make reservations. There is a lounge upstairs which only opens up to customers in the evenings.

The service here is good. The waiters are courteous and friendly, they even volunteer to help take pictures of you.

The menu offers variety of main dishes, starters and sides. For drinks, they offer wines, cocktails, mocktails and Chapman. Unfortunately they do not offer smoothies but you can get fresh fruit juice.

The food here comes tasty. We had rice pilaf and it was delicious.

I would like to visit again in the evening to experience the upstairs lounge.

I have heard so much about the ambience and all, but to be honest it’s what they said it is.. Good food, well cultured waiters!! Will definitely visit again

Where do I start from...? A very unique place with mouth watering menus and takeouts. A very serene environment with impeccable ambiance. I must say the concept is second to none, if not the first of its kind. We had a lovely time there chilling. If you’re visiting a place like this, you need to own a very good smart phone and strong internet, because you need to scan the QR code to obtain the list of the menu online and yes, so as to get beautiful pictures too. Most often than not, you need to make a reservation upfront to get beautiful spots.

The only set back is that they have limited parking space inside, unless you wish to park by the road side of the street and that is a scare for me, because anything can happen.

But asides that, oh, it is a lovely place. They even have a love nest for couples upstairs and it is strongly identified- you cannot miss it.

And you know I am mostly concerned about the rest rooms when I go to any restaurant. Theirs is very neat and functional. No foul odour coming off into the eating area.

The air conditioner works perfectly- not too cold and not hot at all. Perfect weather for two or more, as the case was for me.

I enjoyed my time and the food there. I strongly recommend you give it a try, if you’re seeking an adventure and something new.
