I am reviewing Amazonia Restaurant located at No 7 Hombori Street, Wuse, Abuja.

It is a forest themed restaurant, exquisite, gorgeous in everything.
Food was scrumptious, you can’t hate any, just make sure you ask the servers to explain a bit of their food menu because their menu is made up of food from the rain forest regions, unless you are conversant with them.????

I so much loved the setting and all, it is a coded kind of place, is same place with Lagos Bistro in case you are visiting do not be confused as long as you see the correct house number, just drive in and enjoy.

Food was served right on time, turn around time was great, food was great, staff was great.

Prices were a bit on the high side, but it was worth it, to rate them on a scale of 1-10, I would rate them 10.✔️

The restaurant is in two sections, downstairs and upstairs where you also have a lounge.

You can book them or just walk in.

I was satisfied with everything.

Hello again! It’s finally good to tick this off my list and get the experience of Amazonia.. yes as the name goes it has the whole Amazon vibe and feel from the entrance. The sound of rushing water and the gorilla that makes an appearance adds to the feel( a guy in costume and not an actual gorilla) lol. The food is good and the staff is welcoming and they ask for feed back on how to improve which I really like. It’s perfect for a date or group hangout and the drinks are made with very fresh fruits which I really like. I will definitely be coming back soon ????

I loved the ambience and I liked that they made provisions for baby seats. That is quite thoughtful. The meal I guess will be just as tasty, I had a cold drink while I socked in the calm of the environment.

I even noticed the bird sound in the background, the feel of having a waterfall around and the music, sweet.

AMAZONIA ABUJA

Visiting a rainforest restaurant was an experience for me!
Firstly I had high hopes……very very high hopes and I wasn’t let down ????????

Here’s why I think you need to make a stop here:

- Their service is exceptional! Yes I said that, I’ll give them a 10/10 on this. From the first person you see once you walk in, to climbing the stairs and meeting the wait-staff. Everyone I met that day was so courteous and on point. It felt like they genuinely cared about your experience.

- You need to meet their gorilla! Okay call me biased but I love this concept….. Lemme quickly tell y’all a story ????. I visited Amazonia twice cause I had to meet the gorilla, first time I dined in and the second time I didn’t. I was just talking to someone about my experience there and how sad I was that I didn’t meet the famous gorilla and well he called their Google contact and passed the phone to me ????????????????u200d♀️
I then asked why our dearest gorilla wasn’t available when I visited and well the most polite lady explained that he was off that day but was available now. Well the content creator in me headed there and I met him ????, he doesn’t talk but sure is friendly. Another day I’ll gist you all about my date assuming the gorilla was a regular zoo gorilla ????

- Signature Cocktails! Again I’m glad to say I enjoyed my drinks. Due to their rainforest theme - their drinks are quite tropical and it was good. My highlight was the Strawberry Banana Margarita.

- Beautiful Space: All I’ll say is “Swipe and see for yourself”

- Good food-We had Paella and Rainforest Jambolaya; The paella had all the seafood in the Atlantic Ocean (clears throat ????) but on a serious note they were generous with it. The taste was also good, first paella I actually enjoyed however I would have liked it more if it was a tad more spicy ????. The Rainforest Jambolaya was okay but not too exciting for me, didn’t burst my head.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Loved every bit of my experience here. The ambiance was beautiful well put together rainforest theme, the room upstairs with the 3D wall and to top it the gorilla guy ????.Food was amazing the best tacos I have had in Nigeria. Cocktails weren’t bad at all. A little more seasoning in the pasta meals I will suggest. Overall this is a go to. I think they operate on reservation bases at the moment you might want to call before you get there.

My Amazonia experience was quite humbling as it was a special occasion for me. The restaurant is prides itself for giving you that Amazon feeling when you walk in. It’s a very picturesque place with digital tables if I may say. Lol

We got seated and quickly the menu was presented. The lady that attended to us was awesome as she talked us through the menu.

Starters: Sweet Potatoes Disco Fries

Mains: Ribeye with sautéed potatoes; Chicken Picatta Rice.

Drinks: Tropical Slush and Sunrise Colada

Dessert: Slice of Cake and Ice cream.

The meal was filling that we had to take them away. After having the starter, I already felt full but since we had placed the order, we had to try it out. My ribeye was good.

Asides the pricey menu, the Amazonia is a cool place to go spend quality time and enjoy good food.

The experience at Amazonia restaurant is just amazing. From the ambiance of the place to the theme, to the service, to the food and drinks are all really top-notch. Amazonia is really a lovely restaurant to have that birthday party or go on a special date with that somebody's child. I just love everything about this restaurant. I believe the only reason I won't be giving them a 5 star is because the space is quite small but apart from that it's a wonderful experience.

Amazonia is the full package when you want to eat tasty and good looking meals in a environment that is not your regular Abuja restaurant.

I had the jambalaya rice and Napolita oh something like that with the Strawberry, Irish cream and vodka drink, absolutely loved my food. It was tasty, good looking and super fast. ????

Definitely going to be a second round on this one!!
