Jakande Art market is an international market located in the heart of Jakande. The market is bordered by St. Kizito hospital.
The market is run by traders of different nationals from African countries such as Guinea, Cameroon, Ghana, Senegal, Gabon etc. The market boast of some of the best craft men, curators, art and raw minerals traders. You can buy your gold, leather goods, paintings, sculptures, raw stones etc. You can also buy your spiritual products here too. One thing I personally love about the market is it's quality and efficient focus driven craftsmen and women who produce and display their quality hand made Ankara bags, shoes, clothes, slippers etc, specially customized for you. The produce in units and in bulk and can deliver export grade products.
You should visit and have a see for yourself.

If you're looking for any art, craft that is deeply rooted in African culture, this is the best place. Had great experience going through different shops and seeing different talents exhibited publicly ????

A place to find beautiful Nigeria paintings, carvings, mouldings, necklaces, bangles etc. Some of the paintings are very expensive, in hundreds of thousands of Naira, but really worth the price. Some are fairly affordable. Many expatriates visit the place, attracted by the art works. A place to visit if you are an art lover. The people in the art market are very friendly.

Excellent place to find an assortment of African arts, craftsmen and there's also an African food market. From furniture to sculptures, painting, you'll find them all here.

Taking pictures here is exhausting and expensive. You have to pay the market committee and still pay the shop owners and they all have their anount, just using the Ailes, everyone closes their shop. Apart from the people, the crafts are amazing.
