Not what I was expecting, not a family themed restaurant, more like a bar and lounge. Didn’t care for the ambiance but the deco was nice though. Nice and friendly wait staff and the food was ok when it eventually came, it took so long to be ready. Not too expensive compared to other places I have been

Kohinoor. It is quite the place to chill. I thought the interior decor was unnecessarily complex. The indoor water fountain and woodwork wasn't necessary but it is pardonable. You have lots of spots to take pictures there as well.

Here's my verdict on the food:
I had the jollof carnival, festival rice and the shaken margarita
The jollof carnival is basically basmati jollof rice, asun(peppered goat meat) and four pieces of fried plantain
The festival rice was seafood rice,with shrimp and plantain. It was a bit bland and didn't have enough spice (that's on me, I should have requested for more spice) You should be specific with your orders.
I had a frozen margarita (which I wasn't excited about).
The ambience was great, the music was incredible and the staff were helpful.

You should visit them.

It's a nice place, and there was a live band the day I stopped by.
The waitress was a nice, lively young lady. She was good vibes too.

I had the burger, and it was served with fries, and ketchup (had to get extra ketchup). My partner got some asun. I like the portion for the asun. It was a proper portion.

And for drinks, I had a smoothie. It was a strawberry one, and it was really gooood.

Lovely staff. Decent good and they have Happy Hour which translates to 20% off your bill! Can't lose!

I’ve been to Kohinoor for the second time, the experience this time was wonderful the DJ played so many nice songs. I and my friends danced till it was almost time for the lounge to shut down. The food was awesome and I really loved my drink as well.

Went on a date here and I just loved everything.

There was a special order made by my date for the type of food and the presentation (had my Initial) so yeah, it was awesome.

Waiters actually "Wait" on you here unlike other restaurants.

All in all, im not certain if we got the best treatment because we pre-ordered or because we were in VIP session but the expereince was worth the huge money paid.

If you want the best cocktails, Kohinoor is the place to visit. I had the awesome iced tea, I can still taste it like it was yesterday.
Then there was this spicy catfish, pure taste of goodness.
We sat in the open air lounge with a great view overseeing the road and the rest of the complex.
The waiter that attended to us was very hospitable, kept asking how we were finding things.
When next you're in Lekki, Lagos Nigeria and need a place to chill with friends, give the Kohinoor a go and you'd be delighted you did.
