The MKO Abiola Statue was designed and erected by Olurotimi Ajayi in memory of Chief Moshood Abiola, a politician who was widely regarded as the winner of the inconclusive 1993 Nigerian elections. Standing at about 46 feet (conversion???) tall, the statue was unveiled on 12 June 2018 during the administration of Governor Akinwunmi Ambode.
What a great and lovely garden in one of the most busiest areas in Lagos. I love the plan and layout of the garden and it's properly managed.

A monument dedicated to the late Mko Abiola. This monument houses a garden which is great for family gatherings during the day. At night, this is a whole different kettle of fish as the lighting around this area isn't great and may be a focus point for miscreant activities.

Everywhere is so green. You also have sheltered sitting area to protect you from bad weather conditions. The atmosphere here is great despite it is located on a busy road.
Great place to come with friends and family for a picnic too. It's an open garden and it is free to access by the general public. Strategically located and easily accessible as well.

Abiola Garden ojota is shortest bus stop where someone can enter bus to lekki, vi, ajah and obalende etc but the bus stop is very dangerous at night and in the afternoon because the place is not legally bus stopped but people preferred to enter bus there rather than treks to alapere bus stops. One day I was coming from ketu I have to treks to abiola garden to enter bus to ogudu on this faithful day I have waited but no bus coming neither available but I still waited like 30 minutes suddenly one danfo bus came was southing iyana oworon oshodi ogudu, I entered I wanted to sit at back of driver but the conductor open the front door for me to sit, inside the bus six passenger were inside including driver and conductor. In the front sit one passenger sat beside driver he now came down for me to go inside so that him can sit near the window, our bus took off about to approach alapere bus stop the conductor asked for his Money I put my hands in my wallets to pay , the guy beside me did same things not knowing that they are one chance, the guy now use his bag to removed my phone from my pucket I don't no until I dropped at ogudu, for them to dropped me inside the bus stop proved abortive they move ahead very close to bridge after the bus stops when I notice that my phone has removed from my pucket I ran after them but immediately they sited me coming they took off their engines. That's my experience at abiola garden. Since then if I wanted to enter bus an anybody come down for me to go inside so that him can sit near the window I will not center the bus
