Open air park and green area dedicated to the memory of Nigeria's legal luminary and human rights activists who championed for true democracy and the welfare of the Nigerian masses in his time, late Chief Gani Fawehinmi.

It has the basic amenities of a park such as green areas, benches, and play areas for children etc.

Being close to the Ojota bus stop, noise and environmental pollution are major issues and visitors are encouraged to be security conscious.

I went to the park to take pictures for my photography assignment. I'm really proud such site of attraction was dedicated to Gani Fawehimi. He was a man of honor and justice
The park had beautiful sceneries thought it needs more security because of the Ojota opportunists.
It requires maintenence too. But overall I loved it

In a central location (Ojota), with many bus parks scattered around the place. Always a bee hive of activities. Arrival point for travellers coming into Lagos from many cities. A major landmark for description. You can't miss the giant statue of late legal luminary and legendary activist, Chief Gani Fawehinmi. The park has a well tended, lush green grass.

Gani Fawehinmi Freedom Park is a well structured Park located in the busy area of Ojota coming from 7up in Ikosi, Lagos, Nigeria.
The site of the park is a beautiful place for relaxation. It has very close to it a major inter-state motor park.
It has as a major attraction a giant statue of late human right lawyer, politician and Senior Advocate of Nigeria(SAN), Chief Gani Fawehinmi who was born on April 22, 1938. He died on September 5, 2009. The statue is 44 feet high.
The park is formally known as Liberty Park because of it major role in National protests.
It is not a day to day busy park compare to other parks around the country. It is mostly used for photo shots and by few people who want to connect with friends.
There are no bars and restaurants here but there are facilities for children to enjoy their stay.
It is a cool place. I will recommend the park for anyone to visit.

This place has an eormous statute of the Late Gani Fawehinmi. The park environment is not bad with an average facility. The traffic situation is unpredictable, so one has to plan movement along Ojota-via-Motorways axis very well before setting out to use the Park.

This Park was dedicated to the memories of a great man, a lawyer, a human right advocate and a freedom fighter. The location of the park readily attest the fact. The Ojota axis of Lagos highly populated by the downtrodden, with just a few average people. Gani stood for such people and his statue stood tall In this park.

Horticultural garden and park with Gani Fawehinmi cenotaph. Well kept lawn and flower beds. It is located injota, on the left hand side as you descend the bridge from the Lagos former toll gate. There are garden seats located on the lawn where people may rest for a while from the hustle and bustle of the Ojota bus stop.
