Food is superb I celebrated my 40th birthday there in 2021 with about 25 friends and family who couldn't stop talking about the service and tasty food. From the spring rolls to the shrimp sauce,fish in chili sauce, shredded beef in green pepper, Singapore noodles,prawn sauce, mushroom soup was all great.I've visited several times after that and planning to do my wife's 40th birthday too in 2023. ????

Excellent Chinese choice if you are dinning in..if it's takeout.. then it's going to take 3_4hrs before you get your orders..i love their food..it's tasty .but the really need to work on their delivery time... especially during take out.

The food is what saves this place.
It was a table for 2, there were no other customers and time between order u0026 table delivery was approximately 45 mins. This after we started enquiring after 30 mins and actually got up to leave after 40 mins.
The ambiance is in no way sharp or snazzy, it has an old Chinese / Hong Kong family restaurant feel with wooden roof and window borders. Tables are no frills with typical Chinese lanterns u0026 deco sprinkled around the place. It is totally unpretentious and I personally liked it.
We ordered
* Pork dumplings - although the skin was on the thicker side, the filling was super juicy and altogether it was a great dumpling
* Mixed Fried Rice - Best item of the Day.
* Singapore Rice Noodles - Ok-Ok
* Shredded Beef with Onions - Not a big fan. I personally felt it was way to saucy. I was expecting it to be a stir fried semi-dry dish, but it was a gravy dish with copious amounts of cornstarch in the gravy. Flavour however was good, But the sauce threw me off
* Fried Pork with Peppers - Very very good dish. The sliced pork tasted like it has cut from a smoked Pork. This was dry and pork was perfectly cooked.
* Special mention - The in-house chilli oil is very good. Definitely chilli and a good addition to the dish.

We took 'medium' size helpings but portions were still a lot. Packed for home.

The bill, with 2 cokes u0026 2 bottled water came to around 33k, which is not cheap, by any standard. If only more attention is given to service and food delivery, for sure this place will do well.

The food is very very good and we don't mind paying for it .... However, if I have to wait for over 45 mins for a dumpling order, I have to give serious consideration before planning my next trip there

Chopstick Emperor Chinese Restuarant is one of my favourite Chinese restuarant in LAGOS. I have patronised them for about 15 years.

Their ambience is always great and just right. The food is always exotic and taste great. The rice, meat, chicken, vegetables etc are cooked the right way, without been over cooked.

The quality of service is great. Even the present manager has raised the bar in going out of his way or duty to satisfy the customer.

Highly recommended, even when you want a take away for a quiet time at home with your loved ones.

This is one of the oldest restaurant on this axis. They are well known for their Sunday Chinese Dim Sums. Their staffs are very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. Newbies are well entertained and get to enjoy both the food and atmosphere. They serve food fast too.

Disappointing

Bought takeaway today and first issue was mixup between order for wanton soup and dumplings soup served

Spring roll too dry and fried dumplings burnt

Not a satisfying presentation or experience
