It was an okay experience and service. The bedsheets looked dirty and was torn and the fridge inside wasn't nice to look at. The AC worked nicely but I couldn't really sleep well cos my room's window was facing outside and the staff kept talking. Overall, it's good for short term stay.

The hotel would be the best of its kind within the area if they can improve on two things; Offering 24 hours of electricity with or without public electricity and water system to work well upstairs. I was disappointed in the morning when I couldn't get hot running water to bath due to low water pressure upstair. It's boring and uncomfortable to stay inside in the day times as there will be no electricity except at nights.

Firstly, the location is great. Easily accessible to Opebi Road and very close to Spar and a lot of restaurants. The environment is also serene. The staff are courteous and very friendly though housekeeping can improve on their speed of cleaning rooms. The hotel also serves complimentary breakfast which is really fantastic for a budget hotel.
The amenities in the room work well, the TV has a variety of channels to choose from and power supply is constant. For a budget hotel, it's a great place to stay and I won't have any hesitation about staying there again.

Compared to my last unpleasant experience with the receptionist, this time around, checkin was smooth and seamless. Quality remains top-notch: sparkling clean white sheets and towels, constant power, courteous staff, all at affordable price. Ikeja (sorry to say) is notorious for substandard yet grossly overpriced hotels, however CS cottage is refreshing exception to that. NB: mosquitoes can be an occasional problem so might be useful to inform them to fumigate the room, if possible, before your arrival. In all a pleasant experience and will surely return whenever in Lagos.

It has a very lovely setting for amazingly affordable rates. Rooms are well maintained, and staff members were very costumer-friendly.
Altogether, it was an amazing experience there. Highly recommended.
