A must-have experience for anyone interested in Igbo culture and history. It's the perfect place to immerse yourself in the rich heritage of the Igbo people. I loved everything! Especially, the eloquent and knowledgeable guides, and the cool artsy ambience. A hidden gem in the coal city.

The Centre is a wonderful repository/museum, the only one of its kind in South Eastern Nigeria, that has done a good job of preserving a significant part of the history of Nigeria especially as it affects the region. Of course there is still room for improvement but it is wonderful start and their collection is wonderful. You certainly feel a wave of bittersweet emotions as you walk through the gallery. It is hoped though that more contemporary authors and heroes like Chimamanda Adichie will grace their walls. I enjoyed my outing to the Centre.

Love the vision and mission of this organization. I enjoy visiting with my duo and attending their numerous programs and screenings when I can. The last program I attended had Dike Chukwumerije as a speaker and it was absolutely mesmerizing and awakening as usual. There is usually an interesting, mostly historical , art exhibit on display at the center and there are children books and resources and well as adult books on sale. Keep it up center for Memories Enugu????????

It was a wonderful experience visiting the museum and I learnt so much from the Nigerian Civil War Exhibition. The Exhibition was very detailed and I felt like I was relieving the civil war. The pictures were real and the timeline of activities felt so real. The staff were nice. I wished the place could have a restaurant to serve African foods and more young people visit the place to learn about our history and culture

Centre for memories brings to life the history of the Igbo people.

It displays the various arts, crafts and books that showcases the rich cultural heritage of the Igbo nation.

Their attempt to retell the Igbo story using evidences from the past is truly a good one.

If you haven't visited, today is the perfect day to visit.

A fine repository of African history especially Igbo memories. I've visited many times and it never leaves a sour taste. Always a lovely experience.
From the warm staff to the detailed tours of exhibitions and creative activities. there's always something new and exciting to learn.
Every Igbo person deserves to treat themselves to a visit to the Centre

An out of the way museum which needs more development and publicity. The staff were very cordial and informative. Learned a lot more about Biafra and Nigeria during the visit
