A cute hotel in my words, it gives you the relaxed old bit modern feel. It is super clean and I loved the fact that the room had a ceiling fan (which has nothing to do to the room as there is an air conditioner) which is aesthetically pleasing. The environment is very clean. To use the pool, you would be conveyed to the other Nordic hotel which really is not a problem. The receptionist was very helpful and amazing.

Best stay in Abuja hands down! I have been staying at the Nordic Villa several times now over the past decade (yes!) and will keep on returning because of the
- friendly and helpful Staff;
- clean and comfortable accommodation; and
- affordable rates.
Thanks Nordic Villa for providing excellent service consistently.

The security and gatekeepers are the first point of contact. They are vigilant and focused on their duty. Then, the entrance door leads you to the reception to the warmth of the admin's desk. Sadly, sometimes, the desk is empty. The casual workstation downstairs and the design of the place makes you feel at home.The rooms are designed by fancy names, not numbers. The rooms are big, beautiful, neat and homely. The rooms have fridge and reading desk amongst other things. Sadly, the cleaners are late to duty, maybe they are understaffed. The kitchen makes delicious meals, I took special note of the Akara with less oil. And the Chef is a great cook, see his pics below.

Clean and serene environment in Jabi-Abuja.
Breakfast is not a buffer though, so you will need to pick items from a menu list. Generally, good place.

Great and conducive hotel tucked within the city and once you are in the feeling is just relaxing.
They made up for the absence of a pool and a gym by having an arrangement for all their guest to have free access to the pool and gym facilities at BluCubana oh and you have a driver to take you there which is just 10mims away and back if you don't feel like walking.

I arrived while some maintenance construction was being carried out and there were noticed pasted everywhere which was good. I wish the workers followed it up with proper safety measures after each days job. I had to physically remove pieces of weed with rusted nail sticking out of it from the entrance twice.
I stayed in Stockholm and beside the noise from the renovation my first night was uneventful.

The staff's response to maintenance issues was disappointing, I had no hot water all through my stay despite asking the staff to fix it every morning. I also got the impression that the complaint was never acted upon
The entrance door also had some issues and didn't retract fully when unlocked so it had tendency to lock the guest out or in. I also raised this with the reception and this again wasn't addressed until I was locked in the room while checking out with a taxi waiting to take me to the airport.
I was asked to throw the key out of the room for an attempt to be made to open the door from the outside giving me an impression it was the first time this was happening. When this didn't work, the door lock had to be broken to let me out.

An underwhelming and disappointing stay.

Spacious rooms with free laundry service, limited to 4 items daily. Very good breakfast. Staff are very polite and helpful. Secure environment with guard at the gate. Quiet rooms with fan and aircon.
