Chida can easily be listed as one of the early hotel chains in the FCT and have carved a niche for themselves especially with the introduction of their event and entertainment center which has played host of very many top range events in the city.

With limited spaces, parking always seems to be an issue at both the hotel and the event center.

It would be amazing for the management to infuse some more up to date upgrades to the hotel and also improve service delivery with staff training.

Security is limited to the premises and is effective although some of them can be a little overzealous.

Overall, its a beautiful place to have a getaway and chill in the heart of the city.

It was a decent place to stay. I actually like the hotel. The furnishings are old but in order. Their staff are exceptional. They are nice, polite, hospitable, very helpful and friendly. Chida Hotel is the first hotel in Nigeria that I've been to with quality staff. It's obvious that the management takes care of them well. Their food is just okay. It's not nice but it's chewable. They also need to improve on the variety of dishes. I also think their environment is safe and peaceful. Chida hotel's prices are unbeatable too especially as regarding its quality. I hope they think of making bookings easier by registering their hotel on credible sites like booking.com inorder to manage bookings. I literally had to get their phone number before being able to book a room and in the world of today, that's really slow. Asides that, I really enjoyed my stay and I'll be going back there when next I visit Abuja by God's grace.

The rooms could do with a little of modern face lift. The event hall is magnificent. Ample parking space.

It a five Star hotels, which is situated in a serene environment. You can host both national and international conference here, it is used for religious tourism, here Koinonia holds her power packed worship meeting every Sunday. It is awesome to be here.

Chida hotel is one of the most popular hotel for events and occasions. However, some of their services needs improvement. I wouldn't recommend if you are looking for a 5 star experience.

Visited Chida Hotel, it looked great from outside and in a secluded area in Abuja. The exterior had blue cladding with adequate mixed security at the main gate.

The Foyer, looked cramped with old looking security section, a bakery section. By the lift, old looking chairs.

I waited over 15mins and protested several times to get shown the different type of rooms. I definitely told them that I was not happy with their service u0026 their rooms were looking old and not properly maintained.

Obviously, I left without booking a room.

It's really a nice place where religious activities of koinonia takes place, even though the place is an event centre for other programs. My challenge with them is that some of there ACs are not working, that is the base has 1 non-functional AC, also the gallery is having about 3 that are not working. But outside that, the place is really good for many events
