A Better Nigeria

This is arguably the biggest and best park for recreational activities in Abuja. Picnics, playground, photo shoots, hangouts, games, etc, this is the spot.

It’s really well kept and maintained since it was opened to the public in December 2003.

It was closed down 20th March 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic and was reopened 1st August 2022 by the Minister of the FCT, Mohammed Musa Bello, more than 2 years later.

We really love the serenity, beautiful landscape and well manicured lawns.

Access into the park is completely FREE. However, a new policy means it’s only accessible by persons who have been vaccinated against Covid-19.

We’re glad it’s reopened now and will definitely be paying a lot more visits here.

One of the free park for relaxation in Abuja with lush green grass, well kept and clean.

Situated behind the prestigious Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Maitama district.

Good location for photoshoot, picnic, family hangout and reception.

This is the biggest park in Abuja CBD, Maitama. The park was very spacious and quite well maintained, lots of places to get drinks and some light snacks by the entrance. I loved how well manicured the lawns were and the stream that flowed through it and I really have no negatives just improvements that could be made.
Installing some statues, photo booths and even a restaurant by the river would make the place quite attractive. Overall 6dont have too many complaints, I just hope it keeps being maintained properly.

The No.1 lush public park in the city of Abuja. It comprises of beautiful ambience, father fall, green areas, flowers, trees, flowing water and beautiful urbane outlook for international and local guest. Above all, entrance is free.

You need to show if you ve been vaccinated or not before allowed into the park.

It's still near and beautiful,I am happy it has even maintained like this over the years,it would ve been nice if we had more parks like this!

I attend an SDG programe there and it was amazing as we celebrated the Global week and the SDGs.
