Place needs proper maintenance, but thanks to the veterans of basketball who decided to renovate the basketball courts. It wears a new and improved look, with Fibre rims on both courts. Played a competition there and it was really nice, hope they can maintain it.

The stadium has been improved since the new commissioner came in place. But not up to standard.

A football Stadium, home to Heartland football club of owerri. The capacity is about 10 thousand. The football pitch is poor, the grass is natural but worn. It was last renovated in 2021. It has functional flood light but does not have a score board. There is a VIP stand and a space for journalist.

The stadium is very okay, I'm so much impressed that such stadium can be found in imo state. I've not been there before but I fell in love with the stadium when I saw it, especially when I stepped into that place. I hope to play ball on that stadium if I'm permitted.

The stadium complex would have been some of the best but poor maintenance by successive government each having certain policies peculiar to it while abandoning that of it's predecessors has kept the complex in a bad state. It currently undergoing a renovation though things seem a bit serious this time. Last time l was there, the football pitch was fully grassed and watered, together with other little improvements. The government has to secure the area more, as the place it gradually becoming a home for immigration and other homeless people which in turn bring about social misbehavior in the area at late hours of the day

This place is dilapidated when it comes to infrastructures. Of the 3 basket ball courts, only 1 is at 30%. Others are gone. The lawn tennis courts are okay because there's a club that manages it.
Other places are overgrown with grasses and littered with non biodegradable plastics. But the spirit who come here for fitness exercise is high exciting place to work out.

It was a very good sports arena. But now, it's a shadow of its past glory. The stadium is not properly taken care of and has brought it to a dilapidated stage.

Not a good one for Imo State Government
