One of the best hotels I've stayed in. The hotel is strategically located within Owerri, thus easily accessible to wherever one decides to go to. Secondly, unlike other hotels I have stayed in within the same price, Benchmark Hotels provided a toothbrush and toothpaste. Something I believe is notoriously uncommon considering the prices of items or pilfering by unscrupulous guests. What about food? Very OK. Workers were highly receptive and courteous. The light was constant with very minimal noise. Unfortunately, my room was right beside the generator thus rendering what would been a quiet night "unquiet". In summary, it's a good hotel for the price and hopefully, I will return to Owerri for some other reason if only Supreme Court governor will allow peace to reign.

Easy to locate. You might have a slight challenge using Google map to the place.

It's an amazing place... Not to expensive.. With 9k average... You're good to go. If you're the type who s not really nto eating expensive food... There are about 4 cooks In the area. Theres first bank near.. Its homely and got. Alot of corners to the rooms which makes it awesome. The workers.. Boom.

I stayed in this hotel about 5 years ago in 2015 and the experience was fine. I was shocked to my marrows in 2020 to see the hallmark of poor service. I stayed in one of the top tier rooms yet everything was shabby. Bathroom tap wasn’t working and my room had to be changed. Rooms were mosquito infested. Power supply was epileptic with an average of two changeovers every hour. Eventually-to cap it all- they turned off their generator in the night. With the mosquitoes feasting on me, it was the height of it.

Please do not be carried away by the many nice reviews here. It is either some of them haven't been to good hotels or they visited the hotel some years back or their threshold for quality is so low - no apologies.
1st December 2020 - shabby interior, dirty rooms, worn out doors and handles, mosquito infested rooms and poor power supply. That is in an "executive room/suite".
To cap it all, they turned off the generator mid way into the night! It took the effort of my husband who had to go to the reception when we couldn't take the heat and the mosquito bites anymore to force them to put on the gen!
Horrible experience! For a hotel of that supposed "standard"!
