It's located 45/57 Massey Bamgboshe Street, Lagos Island. It's a very polished place, a historical landmark and a ceremonial ground. TBS Brt terminal is directly in front. Lagos food bank held a walkathon here.

Tafawa Balewa Square is an iconic spot in Lagos state, it is a 50 thousand capacity stadium for people, it is located in the middle of Lagos island, and it is also the place Nigeria celebrated her first independence in 1960. Inside the Square, you will also find other business ventures like, Agencies for Air Travelling, shopping centers, bus terminals, restaurant, parking lots etc. I went there to get my Permanent Voter's Card( PVC) but the crowd was too much so I had to leave and reschedule. Its a very nice and busy place with so many people and activities going on daily, well kept, clean and secured.

The landscape complemented our aesthetic approach to the walkabout. I and my babe achieved spontaneity with the landscape. It was simply all about the landscape for us and our picture-perfect pairing. Lovely experience.

Serving three different purposes - large event place for religious and oolitical activities, bus station and also shops and offices. Beautifully renovated bus station. My main attraction is the sit out and beautiful and artistic white cover for rain and sunshine. The first time I was there after it was opened, my first thought was, this is a kind of place I see abroad and go taking pictures endlessly ????..
The whole Tafawa Balewa square is wearing new look by day. Impressive

This is one of the beauties of Lagos.
Was there for #TheExperience14 and the filled capacity of this one time parade square was a sight to behold.
It's got four entry / exit points with massive gates. Gates are adored with statues of (5) horses and (about 6) eagles each for individual gates.
It was initially built as a race track. The independence day March/parade was held here.
TBS, as it's usually called holds dear Nigeria's metamorphosis

There was a tradefair event and getting the right gate to go through and having to have an expensive ticket to go and come freely was hell...Other than that, it was a great time there.
