The Lakowe Lakes Resort is a place to be if you want to escape the"busyness" and chaos of Lagos. We booked the weekend via the online reservation and the experience was worth the travel.
Our stay was relaxing and rejuvenating. The staff are welcoming and customer-centric.

You'll however need to get your swimming kit from home if you want to use the pool facilities, else, you'll pay a premium to get their kits.

A cool, calm and serene environment with amazing lakeside and sunset views and landscapes. It's pretty far from town but it's worth the trip for a time out or vacation from hustle and bustle of Lagos City

Very peaceful and beautiful place. The interior and exterior are well maintained. The lush green grasses all over the place are a site to behold. Undoubtedly the best golf course in Nigeria.
The staff are friendly and courteous. Very neatly and smartly dressed. Security seems okay from the entrance to the course.
As an avid traveler, my main grouse is that services are generally very slow despite being very pricey. 7 pm dinner was not served till after 9 pm. Breakfast was also delayed. The place seemed to be understaffed. Our meal orders were not followed despite the fact that the orders were placed 24 hours prior to the visit. The meals served were average in quality.
The place is mainly good for golf enthusiasts and those who just want to chill out without disturbance.
If you want romantic visit, dry season is your best bet otherwise rain will Mar most of the outdoor activities.
There are no intercom facilities. You have to use your phone to call reception for all your needs or concerns.

Read all the terms and conditions, make sure you have a proper understanding especially if you will be in one of their apartments (not cottages).

Hello @Lakowe lakes handler, thank you for paying attention to this review. Although the apartment was really beautiful, the serenity was also out of here, it wasn’t part of the resort. The apartments are KMs away from the resort. As rated as Lakowe lakes is, one would have thought that even if the apartments were far away, they would be catered to but that wasn’t it. It just felt like an air bnb, we catered to our every need, wasn’t so palatable. I don’t know how but some conditions in your TnCs should be emphasized because tons of guests will miss it.
