Dangote Oil Refinery is a 650,000 barrels per day (BPD) integrated refinery project under construction in the Lekki Free Zone near Lagos, Nigeria. It is expected to be Africa’s biggest oil refinery and the world’s biggest single-train facility.

The Pipeline Infrastructure at the Dangote Petroleum Refinery is the largest anywhere in the world, with 1,100 kilometers to handle 3 Billion Standard Cubic Foot of gas per day. The Refinery alone has a 400MW Power Plant with several substations to convey Power to the different parts.

This is a world class project solely executed by the Dangote Group. Many of the equipment used for the construction of the Refinery were bought by Dangote and shipped into the Country as there was no local contractor to provide the required equipment.
It is a masterpiece.

Massive fabrication and construction work on going. Labour is cheap here since many professionals are here to supply and apply for various positions.

Waiting at the gate to secure a permit is faster when you are invited for a test or interview by a contractor. You may come along with your PPEs or the contractor may provide based on agreement. You are to observe all safety rules and watch out for others.

Opposite the Refinery is the Lekki Sea Port Project. Laborers are frequently needed from time to time and many workers are falling out of the refinery to the Other side for continuity of jobs.
