The ambience in the zoological garden is conducive for both the animals and humans. There are rules guiding anyone entering on the conduct to have while viewing the animals.

One downside to my visit here was the toilet. If this can be improved to match the image of the zoological institute, it will be an added advantage.

P.S. This zoo is the first zoo I have visited that had the lioness walking and looking really healthy and not skinny. Big kudos to everyone taking care of these animals.

A beautiful place to take kids to. Here you find wildlife properly taken care of for tourist attraction. The guides are super useful and will give you an educative tour of the zoo. It boasts of several animals especially wild ones that are not very common. If you are visiting Ibadan for the first time, this is a place worth going to..

The first time i visited this place was about 10 years ago, nothing much has changed.
I noticed the big gorilla is dead and the tour guide said their lion died few months ago.
Overall The zoo is affordable and well-kept, They have different animals and the animals look well-fed.
I highly recommend this place...

The Zoo is an amusement place to be though many of the wild animals were missing as at the last time I was there 16/08/2022. The Lion in the picture is dead and preserved for visitors view. The Government can do better by bring in more wild animals

Firstly the zoo is beautiful ????????????????????????????
Its located inside University of ibadan. At the pay point you make a payment of 500 for entry fee ie one time payment. It's a really big zoo with a lot of animals to see. There are different kinds of wild animals ie lioness, crocodile, alligators, baboons, chimpanzees, hog, hyena, fox, snakes of different species etc. There's a giraffe, ostrich, goose, peacock, horse, monkeys, camels etc. There's also a section where children and adults can have fun. There are also edible things like snacks around you can buy. The most free and lively animal was the chimpanzee in a main house. He was so happy to see people around. I must say most of the animals were looking tired or will i say weak and hungry. But all in all it was FUN ????????????????????????????????????

Awesome, beautiful and amazing place! The zoological garden, University of Ibadan has maintained excellence in tourism and entertainment.

With a wide variety of animals;birds ????, reptiles, mammals both domestic and wildlife animals; the kangaroo, ostrich, giraffe, camel, donkeys, variety of snakes and Lion(the king of the jungle).

There are relaxing chairs to sit on at intervals and shades which makes the zoo a suitable place for picnic, tourism and relaxation.

The tour guide was excellent and available are children toys, snacks, professional photography.
Worthy of note is the cleanliness of the environment and the animal houses.

I recommend UI zoo highly for a beautiful experience in animal tourism.
