Well this market was a sight to behold. This was one of the visits I longed for. Just to visit the market place and be a part of the shopping experience. I loved as it reminded me of the back in the days home in Trinidad in the old time market place. With lots of elders doing there trading and moving around with loads of stuff on their heads trying to sell them off. But the greatest sight in the market was to see the shoe cobbler using his long time sewing machine stitching lots of shoes. I hadn't seen the sight of this job in over 3 decades. I was fascinated to see this along with the other memorable sights I saw in the market. I was also in amazement to see the men and women walking around with different meats on trays on there heads. They way they balanced the trays and moved around the market was spectacular to see.

Virtually all items you want can be found in Dugbe market, Ibadan. But you need to know what you want and be able to differentiate from fake. Getting items cheap depends on your negotiating capability.

Dugbe Ibadan is one of the major business areas in Ibadan. It is both an industrial and commercial centre. It has a market where you can get wearable, edibles and other household utensils without any stress; though it is not totally a classical environment

This market is very big and partitioned. It's quite difficult locating some area for the particular stuff you want to buy but overall it one place you can go to buy anything. Make sure to ask people to help you locate the part of the market to buy what you want.

There's this woman that sells travelling bags by the road side, directly in front of the Stanbic Bank (I think); don't buy from her, she'll cheat you. There's a wholesales store further from her, you can get your bags there.

It is Dugbe! Hustle, bustle, haggle, saddle, name it. Just be careful here lest you be nabbed, as it can be rowdy.

You should get about anything you want here, and if not, you can visit Ogunpa market like I had to and its pretty close...
