Odu'a Museum and Hall of Fame

If you are a lover of histories most especially about our past heroes and past events, this museum is a must place to visit. It also has another section called the hall of fame. On the day I visited, we were also allowed to watch some events that happened in the past in Nigeria. One of the amazing that captures me most here is the solemn music you'll get to listen when you're inside the museum. This museum is located at cocoa House, a commercial building in ibadan, at the terrace of the museum, you can get to see the beautiful view of Ibadan which is breath-taking, but unfortunately, pictures are not allowed here.

Well! I visited this place in the company of another Local Guide.
You take a lift from the Ground Floor. You alight at the 23rd floor and then go up a flight of wooden stairs to the 24th floor of the Cocoa House where the Museum and Hall of Fame is Located.

On one wing, you have the Hall of Fame that tells in details the Yoruba history from timely memorial and the important people of the Yoruba race, you also find copies of Newspaper from of old. Here, you also find the prototype of the Cocoa House Building.

Not 'unfortunately', photographs are not allowed in here.

On the other wing, the Gallery is located, you have artefacts of Yoruba origin here. The ones that interested me the most were; the various guns (???????? no, I don't like violence), the gun powder and the bullet protector. Here, A Royal Room is also located, where you find the full regalia of a Yoruba King.

Quite fortunately, photos are not allowed here ???? Yes, you read right, you have to visit to see what's inside.

Right when you are done, you step onto the terrace, and right beneath your feet is the loveliest view you may ever see! It's the whole city of Ibadan beneath your feet! The view is breath-taking.

The museum and hall of Fame were beautiful a lot of Yoruba cultural artifacts as well as some other artifacts. And the view from the top floor is amazing. The curator is super friendly.

Great place with an amazing view of Ibadan from the outside but the Museum needs renovation
