This is a small department but currently undergoing a lot of expansion work for more offices, class rooms as well as laboratories. It however lacks sufficient parking space.

The Geology department is located a the ABU Samaru campus it has two blocks of one storyed and tow storyed buildings respectively most of the offices are located on the ground floor while the classes are upstairs.

Geology department is located in Ahmadu Bello University, Samaru, Zaria, adjacent geography dept, side by side physics dept and faculty of art, close to the senate building.

The place is good and uncrowded. There is an acceptable level of power supply.
