Standard and has nice services but parts of buildings are peeling off. Most facilities like in the convenience are rusted and brownish instead of white. The hospital has to take time off to renovate.

This hospital take the term “big for nothing” to a whole new level. If you need a hospital for aesthetics, do pick them. But if you care about your well being, it’s best to avoid this hospital full of unprofessional, rude and uncouth staff. Services are slow and below poor. There are a very few staff with actual knowledge of what professionalism and ethics are, but the few aren’t enough for a big hospital as this.

Visiting here made me doubt that all professions have work ethics. I think the cleaners practice sth similar to sectionalism also. 2 stars for the few staff I came across who are beautifully conscious of their work environment and the patients/ visitors they meet everyday.

This hospital is one of the best built hospital in Nigeria.

The construction and finishes will make you understand the importance of Hospitals in Human life.

Built by the Akwa Ibom State Government, the structure is a Multi Billion Naira Edifice.

I will say the Hospital needs not to be managed by Nigerians giving the standard with which it was built and it's purpose.

The initial operators whom were Indians really did very well to see the place running but since they left, there has been no improvement whatsoever from the state government to ensure standards is maintained.

The hospital plan is so comprehensive that when you enter the building, you will actually think you are in some hospital abroad.

Get specialist and regular medical treatments, maternity services, x-ray, diagnostic tests, surgeries, etc. Good access road, centrally located in the state. There are different sub units for different specialist health care services. The environment is neat and decent. Have wards for male and female patients. Known for medical expertise for years now, thus a suitable household name for specialist medical services in the nation and Africa at large. Specialists, professional doctors, nurses and other health workers. Always open. Accepts emergency cases 24hrs.

Get early attention — of course, that is applicable to every other professionally set up organization.

This is the highest and best hospital in Uyo the capital city of Akwa Ibom State; it's indeed the highest and the best hospital in the whole of Akwa Ibom State.
It's owned by the Akwa Ibom State government.
It's a quaternary health facility, meaning that it's above the teaching hospital. Indeed the facilities found here are the best in Nigeria and to some extent the best in Africa.
This facility was conceived/birthed, designed and constructed with medical tourism in mind.
Indeed it's an excellent healthcare facility.
