Everything about this hotel is excellent. The food is excellent, prepared by talented chefs and cooks, they offer a wide range of options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The architecture is amazing with an interior that is classy and exquisite but not overwhelming, it is rather homely and welcoming. It's facilities are all functional and in the best of conditions.

The staff are ever respectful, accommodating and ready to help. This includes every member of staff, from the reception to guest service to laundry to the dining staff.

The surroundings are the most beautiful I've had the opportunity to experience. A calming and enthralling combination of the human intentional with the natural spontaneous. Rolling fields of green, palm trees, rolling hills, an expansive golf course, a pier by the river, and a wonderful tour guide.

It was a very wonderful experience and I pray for an opportunity to revisit the place. It deserves every bit of the accolades it gets.

PS: It's a little far from the main town, so....

Well they don't call it Icon for nothing. It was a wonderful experience.

The open space lobby is beautiful. The rooms were well decorated and maintained. Moving around isn't difficult.

I sadly wasn't able to play gold or check out the marina but they both are a must see.

There was great service however the maintenance crew didn't respond as fast as I'd expect when there was a power trip.

This is The one and only 5 star hotel that is available now in Akwa Ibom State.

They have excellent customer care services and the best meal in town. Amazingly, the place is well secured.

I left Ibom hotel this morning with my entire family and all there’s to say is super duper amazing. From the environment to the staffs to the food, everything was awesomely awesome. We had such a lovely time there. The pool is very nice, the restaurant is super cool in fact it felt like I was not in this Nigeria. The staffs are so cautious and polite. It’s a place I’ll definitely visit over and over and over again. We were very very impressed. It’s a very cool location for honeymoon too. The environment speaks love. It’s also super clean and neat. I’ll give them 10 stars over and over. It’s an experience everyone should have. I LOVED the live band God they were just heavenly. We stayed in one of the Charlets and it was spacious and very homely. I had fun and enjoyed every second I spent there.

Lovely place! Serene environment with breathtaking scenery. Lots to do within the premises and its environs, from hiking to golfing to swimming. You can also enjoy live performances at the bar and poolside. The restaurant also boasts a good spread. Ime the tour guide made the hotel tour fun and memorable. I would definitely recommend taking the tour.

The rooms are nice and cozy with a balcony attached to each room.

The only downside for me was the poor channel selection on the Televisison and the fact that the air-conditioning wasn't cooling.

Other than that its an absolutely wonderful place to rest, relax, recharge and also have fun. I would definitely recommend and will be back with my family.

So I got a 3 day vacation to the iconic Ibom Icon. A birthday treat from my husband. On arrival, we were welcomed with a cool glass of sparkling wine. I liked that. Of course I got a picture for you.

The general ambience at first glance was a peaceful getaway for that needed rest. I loved, loved that the staff were so polite and courteous.

The Ibom Icon is built for golfers and is one of the 3 golf courses in Nigeria built to international standards. (This is according to our guide, I haven't verified that). One thing for sure, it's a beautiful place that you'll fall in love with over and over again.

The has an art gallery, and the pieces are beautiful and very African. A SPA, a barbing and hair salon, a fitness gym, a phone shop, book shop, mini store, swimming pool and a bar.

A life band on Friday night, cultural day on Saturday and the restaurant topped it off with traditional dishes. You should try their okra soup it's simply ????. One take away that is uncontested is that "these people sabi cook abeg".

For outdoor activities, you can visit the swimming pool, rent a bike, play golf or simply get Ime the resort guide to take you on a walking history of the Ibom Icon and wooo Ime did an amazing job. He's got the history of the Icon off hand. So if you find yourself there, pls ask and insist on "Ime" as your tour guide.

There are 3 ways to access the Ibom Icon. By road, air (a helipad) and by water. The river I learned can take you all the way to Cameron.

It's a beautiful place to visit, clean rooms, excellent bedding. ????. And they could make a golfer out of my husband, trust me, it's worth visiting. Oops I nearly forgot, there's a membership club you can join to enjoy amazing benefits. Or simply play golf and pay daily or "pay as you go".

I absolutely loved my stay here. I went for my honeymoon and my wife and I loved every single thing about it. The staff were so courteous and the service was excellent. I'll definitely visit again very soon.
