This place was once the go to spot, unfortunately it's fallen off big time. The food took forever to arrive. The meat was undercooked. Honestly I should give them just 1 star.

De Manure place is an eatery in a class of it's own. Located in New Owerri, near Villa Garden Hotels, De Manure is a foodies' delight. Good eatery for those who love to eat without-oil meals, in a clean, calm environment.

The food is nice but probably not to it's former standards. It takes time to prepare food especially if there are a lot of people.
But interestingly, there is a soft Owerri music that keeps you company

De Manure is well known for her fresh vegetable delicacy signature called "manure".

The meal comprises of about two different types of vegetables with a choice of protein. Could be snail, fish or other meat.

Their grilled cat fish is to drool for. Well seasoned and cooked. When you are in Owerri the city of Imo state, check this place out. Do not miss it.

They have local dishes available. Service was a bit slow. The food was just OK. I would say it is somewhere to grab a quick meal, nothing special

Always try the Manure, very nice but meals are pricey for Owerri

If you're looking for some real quality local Nigerian dishes in Owerri, then give them a try..Go with a slightly loaded wallet though.. Lol..You won't be disappointed..

Update: their wait time is still quite an issue. 20mins ends up being an hour. And it's a bit too pricey
