Beautiful river.. It is the natural blessing God has blessed makurdi with because due to this river, fishes are large, sweet and affordable in Makurdi township and its a major revenue booster to the state..

Brother to the Niger. Ally of the confluence. The Benue River in all its splendor laid galantly as I took my photograph from a moving vehicle. The Benue River has one of the most beautiful sunsets on the globe. I couldn't resist the urge.

The scenery was nice and it really brings you in touch with nature. But the government needs to work on cleaning it up and maybe commercialising it for more revenue

It's a serene environment. A good spot to interact with nature. Do not go there if you are hydrophobic.
