MT Square Hotel is a 2 storey building with a double gate (entrance and exit). The entrance glass door has an electric eye (motion sensor) for automatic opening. Smoke detectors and CCTV cameras are installed for detection, while fire extinguishers are deployed on each floor for fire fighting. Security guards from St Hill Security Company man the gates and patrol the premises with surveillance support from the Police Post opposite the hotel.

The windows have burglar bars and the key-card controlled doors have multiple internal locks. The hotel also comes with a large car park and a cosy restaurant. Mt Square is recommended for stay at Makurdi, especially with its affordable rates.

An improvement on safety and security will involve deployment of additional fire extinguishers and have the security guards put on their uniform always.

Its a really nice hotel and its very popular and easy to locate. I really love this hotel! I wasnt expecting this much good service. Their prices are affordable and service very prompt. I ordered from the restaurant twice n in less than 15mins my orders were ready. Their staff are very polite and well mannered. And the building itself is simple and beautiful. 24hrs power supply, free internet and more.
Please next time you are coming to makurdi do stop by and you ll be hooked on first sight like me. Cheers

The Hotel is nice. The rooms are beautiful and affordable as well. There is a hall and a bar. It's safe place to hangout, there's a police station just across the hotel.

Their suite A is amazing, with tv Subscription, a fridge, a parlor and room with good couch. Their food is also tasty

The ambience is good u0026 the staff are very professional. May need to repair or upgrade some of the facilities though as they are worn. Overall its a peaceful place. Enjoyed my stay

It is a newly built hotel in a quiet part of town.
The rooms are quaint, comfortable and affordable.
The decor is modern, and it has a small bar that shows football matches and has cold drinks all day, though s9metimes they may not have a great variety all the time. The drinks are also not too expensive.
The staff are courteous and diligent.
Cuisine wise, it is the usual deal you get in most hotels in town, but I love their vegetable.
It is not a cash only place, and they also give special discounts to corporate bodies.
Overall, it was not too bad an experience
