I was greatly disappointed!
1. Wait time for our order to arrive took over 1 hour! There were just 3 other groups other than us in the Restaurant
2. We were offered some pastry to Munch on while we waited for our order to arrive
3. A group beside us had ordered some sort of dish that should come in a hot pit. The waiter brought it in and the smell and smoke polluted the whole Restaurant! I was coughing, sneezing and my eyes were tearing so much I had to go outside
4. There is no wash hand basin in the Restaurant, so, if you need to wash your hands before eating (like some of us are prone to do), you have to use the ???? Restroom if you are seated indoors ????u200d♀️
5. The waiter had a silly 'air' that I can properly describe
6. The food was brought out in plates, with no cellophane covering, brought our exposed like that! Like; my food isn't even served like that in my house!
7. The prices for the service offered was outrageous!
8. No form of entertainment while you eat not even the TV. When I asked if I could at least watch cable TV, the waiter said he was going to call the Manager and he never returned. He only returned when it was time to drop the bill and he made some excuse for it
9. That spicy flair that comes from the ingredients which make Chinese rice truly special was missing too
10. The Irish Potato Chips/ Fries is the worst I have ever tasted. I had it packed! I wouldn't spare that money for them. Of course we charged for the takeaway packs; 1 for the sauce which I did not have, another for my friends good which he only managed to eat and the third for the fries

The entrance is not perfectly wheelchair accessible if there is anything like that ????u200d♀️ because the ramp that comes from outside does not lead smoothly inside so I guess the wheelchair will have to be inclined at some angle to get in

There is one high chair available at the entrance maybe for babies.

The only reason they get a 2 star ???? is because the food was sweet and the sauce which I could not eat since I was sneezing so much was still good when I decided to eat it the next day

I went to have lunch at @thesecretchinese and I had a good experience. The food didn't take time to get ready and it was prepared fresh.

1. I got the fried rice with sea food And chicken with mushroom in soy sauce in hot pit 10/10

2. Secret special fried rice And stir fry diced chicken in chilli sauce 7/10. It tasted nice but looks so reddd.

3. Chapman 8/10

4. Special cocktail (fruity)....it was weird 4/10.

My overall experience there is good. It wasn't really exciting though. Still glad I went and had a nice time.

Where next would you like me to visit to drop a review??

Good food, sizable portions. Really nice staff. The place looks beautiful and they had nice music playing. A lot of attention went to aesthetics, great date spot although I went alone, would definitely go again. It does take a while for food to be served but it's worth the wait.

The place is nice. Quiet. The meals are tasty. Real value for money. We enjoyed ourselves here

Good food but general service wasn't good. Slow response to basically everything: getting our food after placing the order, no cold or even room temperature water, bill came in after minutes of requesting too.????

However, the food tastes really nice, I guess you just have to wear your patient hat when visiting????

Finding the location was easy, visited on 28-07-2019.
Great location, not enough parking space for now, the deco was great and appealing. For first timers, to avoid same mistake I made, a large portion of rice can take 3/4 people and the medium can take 2. I had to go home with food and couldn't still finish it.
Secret chinese.. I heard so much and didn't come short of expectation, the service was splendid, paid with pos, I wish I was explained better because I spent as much as 18k on a sitting.
I would be coming back again but this time more prepared and a better budget.

The ambience of the place was okay, the food was really nice and affordable. I had a little problem when I was visiting for the first time. The gate was closed, I had to stand at the gate for more than 15 minutes before an outsider came to open the gate for me by putting his hand through the gates, there was no security around, and there was a worker inside the compound who was watching and didn't attempt to open the gate, didn't apologize or say a word, my friends who were coming to join me had the same problem, I had to stand up to go and open the gate for them
Fr!!!!! It's not my house! why should I have to stand to at the gate clueless and also stand up to go and open the gate for my friends when they came in???
Why is there no security at the gate?
Why are the workers so nonchalant?

It was a public holiday (1st of January), I didn't expect they would be so nonchalant about holidays and people coming to eat????

I'm rating it okay because of the food and nothing more????
