This is my fourth time visiting Sailor's lounge and still never been disappointed. Although it didn't have the usual crowd I have accustomed it to but it was quite busy. With loud music on one side and the cool breeze from the lagoon on the other, the lounge has always been one of my best go to places in Lekki. Nicely made meals, but the drinks were a little off today, and great music everytime. An amazing ambience especially at night

Lagos restaurants never cease to amaze me. I went to Sailors lounge to meet up with an old friend. When I got there I decided to sit at the deck to have a good view of the water (which smells tbh) and while we were talking the waitress dropped an empty bottle of Jameson on the table. We didn’t have any clue what it was for , until we asked for the menu. Then we were told that we had to buy the bottle placed on the table or something equivalent if we wanted to sit at the deck. Needless to say , we were shocked lol. How will you be telling me what to order? Why weren’t we informed before we sat down? I can only imagine that this is a way of trying coerce customers into spending large sums so they don’t embarrass themselves by standing up. It was very distasteful to me.

Onto the main review , the food was alright nothing crazy. There was a great live band playing that day but it was very very loud. Having a conversation was so hard. It felt like I was in a club. Overall great view of the water , okay food but a bit too loud and the bottle stuff was just ridiculous.

The view and dj were spectacular! Had a very lovely evening. I didn't try their food so am coming back soon to get prepared for a full package review.

This is one of the best place to hang or chill out on a cool evening. The lounge which is surrounded by water makes it so unique and serene. The environment is comforting, calming and welcoming. They service is so amazing. Their life band music is so entertaining without being too loud. The Sailors grill fish is havens, it tastes so delicious alongside with yam. I enjoyed every bit of it. The decorations and lightenings are great too. I don’t mind visiting more often. I strongly recommend.

This is an okay hangout spot. I hear they have some good music on Sunday evenings but I wasn't there to experience it. Nice serene view, and I guess the interior was deliberately themed to the name -Wooden flooru0026 Walls, decent no necessarily plush. Sailors do you care about all those fancy bells and whistles u know!

Overall good chillax spot.

Well this place is classy and I love it. It's my first time tho but I enjoyed there service especially one particular waitress that served, she was friendly and smiled all through.. as for the food, initially I was angry cuz I didn't get catfish barbecue but it's all good now..nice place to visit

My friend and I decided to visit Sailors Lounge; we were after somewhere with a ‘chilled vibe’

She arrived before I did and sat on the dock. Shortly before we requested the menu, the waiters had distributed empty packs of liquor to the tables, whilst we were sitting. Following this, they informed us that to order food, we had to buy the drink or the price equivalent that was on our table. This was ridiculous as we had not been informed of this policy prior to being ushered to the table and/or even when the drink pack was dropped.

I would add that we had to scan a barcode to view the menu and unfortunately I didn’t have service the entire time and there was no alternative way for me to see the menu, thankfully my friend had network.

We eventually changed seats and ordered basic fries and chicken wings and chap man.

There was a live band performance which was amazing but it got too loud and we had to leave because we couldn’t hear ourselves. There needs to be a balance though, I want to go out and listen to a live band and not have to shout to be heard.
