Quiet and pleasant evening. Not too many guests. Bar guys were excellent and whipped up great cocktails based on our peculiar requests. Even gave a tour of the facility. Salmon wasn’t fantastic but they made it up by serving dessert free. The manager was available all through. Well done Noir.
Best of all, she paid ????

This was an amazing food tasting experience. So far this is the best fine dining I have experienced on Lagos Island. All the food was mouth wateringly good. The staff is good and the environment is nice and chill as well. Well done establishment.

I loved the calmness Noir offers, especially on a Friday night. It was serene and the music was perfect.

Food took almost an hour to come. The wait was worth it, since I wasn't so hungry.
Eating here is pricey-exquisite fine dining. Everything I had was a hit. I highly recommend the chicken escalope and mushroom sauce.

I did enjoy the service and attention the staff paid to detail. They were very hands-on and swift in their duties, but I was surprised when the waitress "stylishly demanded" a tip, like she was trying to be discreet about it.

Also, please include sweets when you bring your bill.

Really nice restaurant, good music, beautiful ambiance, family-friendly, good food but portions are very small and pricey. Watch your pocket before you come here. Ended up paying N116k for 4 people's regular meals. Enjoyed myself though.

I and my girlfriend went to Noir and we had an amazing experience. I had the crispy pork belly with apple glaze and crushed garlic potatoes, and she had the slow roast lamb with Mediterranean couscous. The meals were absolutely exceptional, and despite my usual large appetite, I found the portion sizes to be decent.
She had a frozen daiquiri, and I had their rose and cucumber cocktail. We finished up the meal with a tipsy carrot cake.

The staff were very polite and ready to help us out at all times. I'd certainly recommend checking Noir out. Just keep in mind that it is on the pricier side, and two people are likely to spend close to or above 50k.

I was invited to Noir for a surprise birthday party. The french restaurant is a 2 storey building that sells pastries on the ground and 1st floor. The 1st floor also has a restaurant for dining and the 2nd floor has an indoor lounge and open space for hosting parties or celebrate an event. The interior is warm and cozy and I also loved the ambiance.
There was a menu that had variety of food to choose from. I will post the menu below.
There was chocolate and crisp to peck on before the appetizer was served.
My appetizer was some bread and butter, and variety of the starters.
My main meal was Beef Bourguinon, burgundy juice, mash potatoes, carrots and mushroom. I loved my meal, the potato was soft and nicely done. The beef was tender and moist and it had marinated well in the juice. The carrot was also tender. I enjoyed it so much.
The down side was the wait time in preparing the meals, it took over 30 minutes and it was pretty late, as a result I couldn't stay for dessert.
I also tasted my friend's poisson du jour, it was nice and moist, but she said she didn't really enjoy the rice.
I also tasted my friend's roasted chicken, it was well done, tender and well seasoned.
Their toilet is very clean and I love the fragrance of the bathroom.
Overall, it is a nice place, unfortunately, I am unable to tell you if it is an expensive restaurant.

Great service.
Food just average.
I'd recommend Fresh Cut fries anytime.

Beef Bourguignon - beef wasn't sliced as thick as I anticipated but not suya street meat thin. It's served separate from the mashed potatoes. Included zucchini, carrot and just a touch of onions. The sauce could have been more robust with flavor. Even the French cook with my more spices/seasoning/flavor.

Lobster Thermidor - forever grateful they do not use egg. The rice pilaf that's served alongside is as bland and flavorless as possible. You'll do best rolling the thermidor amongst the rice so the cream rolls into the rice. A half portion was sufficient, but I'd totally recommend the full serving should you have time/money/room.

Chicken Sandwich (Burger) - this was chosen as grilled over battered. We had a lot of carbs so there's that. The fries were crisp and seasoned as they should be but you rarely find in these parts. Topped with lettuce. Mayo spread. Tomato slices. Fried onions that were cold against everything else. Recommend with a notice to watch for the toppings condiments if you have allergens.

Truffle Pasta with homemade fettuccine - I was asked and opted for the homemade pasta. I probably should have went with the store bought. The Parmesan cheese topping is authentic but the truffles were hard to find and Taste yet the butter was prominently evident. Given all the dishes and the lack of flavor begging for immediate consumption - I had it packed to go home via takeaway.

By the way they charge for ToGo containers. Take away. At these prices it should be included.

Service was attentive.
Saturday night had 4 tables total and the service didn't fail.

The welcoming bread basket was served via a paper napkin in the bowl. Given these prices and location - I'd expect a cloth napkin at best. They have monogrammed cloth napkins at different seats in the restaurant.

Vibe - good for a date night or group or family. Took the window view and sat in the booth. Lighting was apropos for the mood.

I shall return for salads, soup and fried shrimp. Plus, I know I'd like to try 1 dessert eventually but no rush to drop 40-60k.

See the pictures for the dishes.
Including the receipt variations.
