Metisse is the restaurant located above chocolat royale in Victoria Island. Its a nice place with both outdoor and indoor sitting, though I'll recommend the indoor section cos it's much nicer.

The food didn't take too long and tasted awesome, their prices are definitely fair and the ambience is great. The waiter mixed up my cocktail order (I ordered something with mango but got a different variant) but this wasn't much of an issue (I'm an easy-going guy lol). There's wide variety in the menu so definitely a meal for everyone in there. Overall it's a very nice hangout spot, probably why I keep going back :-)

Métisse / Café Royal is a potpourri of different cuisines, from Asian to Mexican, Mediterranean and Continental.
The ambience is really good, décor simple and elegant. There's an outdoor patio for those that want some fresh air or smokers. The food is excellent and reasonably priced compared to other restaurants in the same cadre.
The waiters seem very well trained and professional in discharging their duties.
There's Chocolat Royal downstairs, a patisserie with excellent selection of deserts.
Overall, a very good place to grab a sandwich or full proper meal.

Wonderful decor and ambiance although the lighting is somewhat dim but i guess that’s the vibe. the food took about 15 minutes to arrive for me and then another 5 for my date. Food was relatively pricey and a little worth the price. the fries were awesome though.
