I have no idea how this place is rated this highly.
Came on a Sunday. I perfectly understand that they are likely to be short-staffed on a Sunday . But they refused to give a discharge summary for my colleague.

There was one nurse who knew what she was doing and the rest were trainees . My collègue ended up with a swollen hand due to incorrect IV placements.

There was no duty doctor for almost half a day.

So the high rating in my opinion can only due to them gaming the review system .
Avoid the hospital as much as possible.

Good #medical facility. They have #emergency services and medical care for both adults and children. The facility is #wheelchair accessible. They have consultants on all fields of the services they offer. The nurses are friendly and welcoming. Big car park at the back that is #wheelchair accessible.

I have been to quite a few hospital's in Lagos, but Lagoon Hospitals, Apapa beats them all. The automation of medical procedures and records, and the professionalism displayed from gate man to security guard to front office staff to cleaner to the doctors is far above the rest. Please keep up the good work, as excellence has no peak, there is always room for improvement. The facility was quite clean too.

I visited about two and a half years ago. While the service was great and the staff were professional yet friendly, it was a rainy day and the road to Apapa where the hospital is located is in a terrible state of disrepair. On that day, it was nearly unmotorable due to pot holes and flooding. I had to board a motorcycle to get there.
It is a decent hospital but not one to visit under emergency if you do not live nearby.
