My favorite ice cream place in Lagos! They absolutely delight my taste buds. It is very neat and has so many great flavors. Also, the staff are very warm and courteous.
You can try my favorite combo: coffee, yogurt strawberry and salted caramel.

To be honest, I wished Hans u0026 René was still at ICM. Nevertheless, myself and boo had to make the extra effort to find them at Ikeja GRA. The flavour of the ice creams have not changed. Still same and beautiful. We were excited being there, more like finally but the guys there weren't really showing that kind of liveliness that we experienced when they were at ICM. Another episode was when we were going to pay for our ice cream. We had cash and the guy kept saying we have to pay with our card. We only had the cash so what would have happened? Then we saw a notice saying you can transfer and we asked if we could do a transfer. With us seeing such notice he said it's against company policy. The awful part was when the same guy was saying see you tomorrow. Customer experience is a process. If you get it wrong from the start, the end doesn't make it good. They got a 4 star because the ice cream was so good I wanted more.

I like the intimate space here and the ice-cream tasted so good and I'm definitely going back, tho wished they didn't have to move from ICM.

Hans u0026 Rene is a guilty pleasure! The cake slices are fantastic (the red velvet cheesecake cake is heavenly!), the gelato, chicken pies, and sorbet also. Minus 1 star because cake slices are only available on weekends and the ikeja branch doesn't have as much options as the VI branch. They also cater, i've seen them at lots of weddings and parties in Lagos. Overall their products are top quality, albeit quite expensive. I'm an addict!

The view was quite nice although it was small. They are usually open from 12 pm to 9pm. Their gelatos are amazeballs especially the Snickerdoodle flavor. One scoop of their gelato costs #1200 but it's worth the price. The flavors are quite rich and satisfying and each scoop isn't too small.
It was a really nice place to visit.

Great score for a variant of flavours but a tad pricey. Might have gotten these scoops for less at you-know-where???? but hey!
Why is the shop screaming “eat me and get out” BTW??????????It’s tiny…I don’t want to have to watch other customers come in and feel guilty for still sitting.

I visited this branch in 2019. The best ice cream I've ever had. Then I came back for the first time since 2019 as I am from another country. Myself and a collegue have been dreaming about the day we can eat their ice cream again. When we landed, first thing we wanted to do was get some Hans u0026 Rene ice cream. Which we did, twice and it was fantastic. BUT today, we step in, try a few flavours as usual but today we were met with dissapointed. We asked what the Total was, the man working the registers tell us. We start counting our money. He says they cannot accept cash. We are not from this country so we cannot use our bank Cards, only cash. Now our ice cream, carefully chosen and scooped is still in the shop because they would not accept our cash. Even though they have twice before today..... now we will have to move to competitors because we do not have a bank account in nigeria. This was truly a heart breaking day.
