DR. BEKO RANSOME KUTI PARK

It's a public and open park along Oshodi Apapa road, located in the Anthony Area. It is in the midst of three roads. It has few trees planted so there is cool natural breeze.

There are some flowers in this park.

It is a good place for a short relaxation.
It has no chairs for people to sit.

But you can seat on some of the horticultural stones and slabs.

It has the statue of Dr Beko Ransome Kuti

Nice place. Could use a bit more of maintenance though. Security is satisfactory here.

Want to enjoy the lovely serene of nature. Then going to this park will be amazing, although not so it big it compensate what it loses in size to flowers and tranquil.
It's well secured as there is presence of security personnel. There are few chairs for setting.
Overall it a serene place to be.

The park is open to the public until 19:00 hrs GMT. It's quite secure too, there are security dogs and uniformed men guarding the park. The garden is quite neat with well tended flowers.
If you're looking for a private garden, this is not the place because it is landlocked by very busy roads.
The provision made for seating can accommodate only about 20 people at once.

It's a beautiful park. Currently undergoing some renovations. I've never seen them hold an event inside though, most likely because it's small. Some LASTMA officers are stationed at one of the entrances(the one close to Greenspring School). But still, be extra alert if you decide to walk by it or through it when it's dark, "agberos" are always lurking.

Relaxation park for couple and family, no parking space, parking will be done at Anthony under bridge beside Shodex Gardens. Pretty wedding photos can be taken there
