Budo 'Specialist' Hospital has really decayed over the last 5 years. I was here in 2017 for a friend's delivery, and the place was still decent, but today it is basically dilapidated.
A lot of the equipment and facilities are outdated and out of service, electricity supply is very poor and rather than utilize a high capacity diesel generator, they use several small petrol generators which are unable to power the heavy equipment and appliances in the hospital, including airconditioners. Patients are usually sweating in the sweltering heat, and newborn babies are wailing in the cruel humidity.
The environment is also nasty. Toilets do not flush properly, ceilings have patches, most walls have gone off colour, and signs of mold can be seen on some. Even the basic electronics like the TV are outdated and malfunctioning. Things have really gone wrong here.
