My experience at Best Care Hospital Ikoyi
I got to the clinic as a new patient and the front desk gave me a form to fill without a pen and I ask for a pen and she said she doesn’t have,I was in awe and said can’t she find one or ask her colleagues and how am I supposed to fill a form without any pen and the next thing she said was ,am I not supposed to come with a pen,that i should have a pen and at this point I was shock and said I don’t have a pen and had to remind her that I also work in a clinic and that this is the first time a staff is being rude to a patient for not coming in with a pen to fill their form
I had to ask the way forward because she didn’t want to attend to me anymore because I couldn’t fill a form that she gave to me without a pen and she now said i should spell my details out in the present of other patients,I had to call and spell out my full details with other patients present
After that she asked me to go get my vitals and I was like where? Her response with a loud voice was THE NURSING UNIT NOW, and I had to remind her that this is my first time here and I don’t know anywhere that she should point out the direction but she didn’t respond,I saw a staff wearing their T-shirt he now directed me
She sent my details to for approval without the prosper diagnosis and most are procedures
I have done in other clinics and approval was given,I called reliance and they said I was covered for all the test sent but they didn’t include the prosper diagnosis not that it’s not approved unlike what the front desk said that I wasn’t covered,
She told me to go to the other building for my test and I asked where again she was mute,I had to tell her my displeasure.i have been to hospitals and I have never been treated this way
This will definitely be my last once I collect my test results.
