The original beach doesn't exist anymore. The bus stop is still there by the gate of the Atlantic city

I was here 4 years ago.. My time there was really superb.. Though didn't know how to swim but the feeling you have when you get to a beach the serene environment the peaceful surroundings the rumbling of water .. One of the best beach in Lagos.. The tidal current ... You would enjoy it if you come here the bars around it, the food...delicious

The Bar Beach has now given way to what is now called the Eko Atlantic City.

It was such a beautiful beach, stretching into miles and miles and miles of beautiful sea along the coast line until some Nigerians decided to mess up the place.

They polluted the water so much because they felt the water was able to cure Spiritual ailments.

People will offer sacrifices near the water, down to drowning live animals as huge as cows in it.

You will find people bathing with bags of salts.

while you are trying to relax, you may find a 'Prophet'come up to Prophesy into your life.

How about the activities of the hoodlums and street urchins on the beach, you paid a very small entrance fee but gad to pay for every other thing on the beach except the water at the beach of course????

It was a beautiful beach, I am glad the Lagos state Government reclaimed it
