The building itself was the first school in Northern Nigeria which many prominent Nigerians attended. The artifacts on display in the museum is breathtaking considering the history and culture of Northern Nigeria and Katsina in particular. Camera is strictly not allowed. I was excited with what I saw and learned in the museum, absolutely amazing.

The mud building in which this museum is housed was the first colonial school in Northern Nigeria attended by all the prominent northerners that took over from the colonial powers. The museum has a rich collection of artefacts from different historical epochs with some dating over a thousand years. The museum is a crossroad of ancient and modern histories.

Lovely place. Still can't believe this high number of prominent people and families attended the college here.

Very interesting and inspiring. Couldn't take any photos that I could share per the museum rules but the guides are thorough and are always ready to answer any/all questions.

It's quiet amazing.. The Hausa history and culture is on display here.. The only problem is how fast the curator rushes the whole visit session.. Aside from that it's really cool.. You would even get to see the then Biafra currency...

Katsina Museum building is in itself a museum as its the remains of the old teachers college, the foremost college in Northern Nigeria.
It houses the northern heritage with remains of the founding fathers u0026 mothers of Katsina.
Pretty home of relics, with rich cultural worth on display
