Lovely location in the city of Jos. Great interaction between nature and animals. I visited this place in 2018. The pictures I took there still hold awesome memories.

The park has a number of animals like elephant, ostrich, lions, crocodiles, horse, baboons, monkeys and the likes.
The people selling tickets at the gate need to do better with their service.
If you are not familiar, you would end up wondering around the park without a guide.
When coming, always ensure to ask for a guide at the gate to help you find the animals and have an amazing experience.

Jos wildlife was okay, although I feel bad for the ice cream loving elephant, it is all alone. Other than that the general experience was lovely. Have fun, also note that during special occasions (public holiday, Christmas, new-year) the place is usually crowded. But then again the more the merrier I guess. Have fun and take food for the animals, they love it but watch the kind of food you give them (know what you should, and shouldn't give them)

This park sits on a massive piece of land and has a greater number of animals than the National Park and Zoo in Abuja. It is also home to a beautiful pine forest which is my favorite part of the park. It’s definitely a must visit for anyone coming into town as a visitor or tourists. It’s one of the high-traffic “chilling spots” in Jos.

I’d give it five stars but:
1. like with a lot of government ventures in Nigeria, the park is poorly managed. Some of the animals (the lions are a notable mention) look soooo poorly fed that they barely look like one would expect them to. Sometimes you’d have to guess the name of the animal you’re looking at because the signs have fallen off.
2. Some parts of the perimeter fence have been broken so a lot of people can gain access without going through the gate and paying. This makes the park too populated especially on peak days (like Sunday), and this crowd gets hard to control sometimes.

Final note: Make sure you see the pine forest! Jos is one of the few places in Nigeria where pines can thrive. It’s a wonderful place to just sit with your significant other and appreciate nature.

We had a great time! I hadn't been in over 10 years because I had been out of the country, but it was great just like I remembered from before.
We had a great time feeding the monkeys and elephant!
We picked a bad day to go. It rained. We'll have to go back another time when it isn't supposed to rain so that we don't have to leave before seeing all of the animals. The little shops at the end were great too!

Nice location cool environment, but a lot needs to be done.. like renovate the whole place , bring in new animals and improve management...

It's an awesome base for eco-tourism, recreation and afforestation.

The Jos Wildlife Park has the potentials of becoming World class.

We need to harness the park for the economic emancipation tourism in Plateau state.
