It is the tertiary teaching hospital in Kwara State. It is a hospital that primary health care centres and other secondary hospitals within the state refer patients to.
It is equipped with latest medical equipment, working daily not to lag behind in treating patients.
It is controlled by the federal government of Nigeria.

The teaching hospital is good with great facilities. Nice structures. Awesome professionals available to attend to you.

Government can do better , renovate the buildings especially the mortuary side .

I am impressed with the size of the structure. The quality of the doctors is also impressive. Unfortunately if this hospital were to be built by a standard construction company people will come from other countries
In any case it's better than other states.

I don't really like the buildings there. The standard is low.
