First Class Chinese restaurant with a comprehensive menu that includes some continental dishes me curries. It has a well stocked bar and cubicles for private dining and private parties and functions. Staff are friendly and courteous and food is reasonably priced

The food is really nice, tasty, do try the chicken and onion spring rolls as your starter. Prices are slightly above average. Staff are also "full of greetings and smiles", My only complaint, which is not a complaint is the age of the restaurant, and it shows in the decor but this in no way affected my experience.

The atmosphere is great, lovely decoration. The food was good too. My order alone was 5200 (fried rice with shrimp and shredded beef sauce which I shared with someone) but i went in a group so we received a 10% discount on the total price. If you are a large eater, you would probably need the medium or large sizes and the sauce can be shared with someone. It's affordable too and the staff were very courteous and nice.

New China Restaurant is a Chinese restaurant that has been in Opic plaza for years. From about 8 years ago to now, nothing has changed much in the decor. The food was still good, quite tasty but I sense something has reduced in the quality.
The security guards are alert to recognise and warmly welcome visitors and on getting into the restaurant, waiters/waitresses were eager to receive you and lead you to a table.
I often said this was the best Chinese restaurant but I may be careful saying so henceforth however still a great place to eat. Highly recommended.

New China restaurant has been around for many years located at the basement of the Opic Plaza Complex, right next to the Lagos Sheraton Hotel. Presence of security personnel at the entrance of the complex. Wheel chair accessible parking is present. Wheel chair access is present, but the access ramp is located at the back and one will have to notify the staff for assistance.

Due to their location in the basement, WiFi/cellular network signals can be spotty down there.

They have a lovely menu. Mind you, the food is cooked based on the ethnicity of the individual or group dining. For example, for a Nigerian group dining, more pepper will be added to the dishes and the food is cooked longer to ensure it is thoroughly cooked whereas for an Asian group, the food may be medium rare with more emphasis on exotic spices and oils.

Prices are very reasonable. But I believe, serving portions are better when dining in compared to take aways.

Takeaways are offered within the Ikeja metropolis.

Staff are polite and friendly and will even assist to look after your kids while you dine.

Cash, Debit and credit card payments are accepted here.

All in all, a nice Chinese restaurant to visit.

All round a good place to eat. Family outings are definitely a possibility here, they also have private dining rooms for more private gatherings. Good food and attentive waiters.
