It is a Lagos state owned university teaching hospital for the lasu(Lagos state university). it is situated in ikeja ,Lagos , and it has different department and emergency ward. it also have a large parking space for vehicles. The resources available to them are limited and they are trying to manage what they have. They have children ward and dialysis center for nephrology activities. it also has its extension at Gbagada general hospital.

Lagos State University Teaching Hospital is among the top rated hospitals in Lagos State as patients are referred to it from all over the state.

The serene environment of the hospital despite situated in a busy area is commendable. The environment is neat spacious secured given its proximity to police facilities.

It boasts of various specialists and surging customers.

Terrible experience.

It is a teaching hospital so you'd expect to have better services then general hospitals but this is not the case.

Firstly, you buy and pay for everything, almost including the air you breathe. We bought all medications, syringes, blood sugar monitor, thermometer for measuring body temperature, even the doctors' gloves we had to purchase.

Our patient was referred there in hope of getting specialists for a surgery but the patient was killed by carelessness and stupidity of the healthcare workers. Gave a diabetes patient glucose based IV until she entered diabetic coma and passed on from there.

And you will still pay through your nose to get your dead remains out of their facility.

If you ever have an option, please take yourself and anyone you know far from this place.

Is Big hospital no doubt with different doctors and student but patients are always more than the hospital itself with everyday complain of no bed,no bed,no bed for patient to be adminted . patients go through hall to get the proper treatment, there doctors are like God,if you talk to them anyhow may be because of the pain you are going through they will live you untreated.I don't pray for revisit.
