This is one of the absolute awful hotels I have been in. It's not worth the price attached to it. I paid N15,000/night to be tortured.
The first room I was given had no covering for the bathroom window. It was totally open and gave access to mosquitoes. The AC is the old version, placed on the floor (who places AC on the floor), and had openings around the edge that they tried covering with newspapers. I was there for less than 5 minutes and I had become a warrior trying to kill flies and mosquitoes.
I begged to add more money and be taken to other rooms. Climbed 3 flight of stairs severally, searching for a better room, and there was none. The last one I went for had water on the toilet floor. The cleaner came to clean it, but the floor became half-flooded later.
There are no sockets by the bed side. The wardrobe had junks in it. It probably has not been cleaned for weeks. The AC was very noisy all through and because of its positioning, only succeeded in blowing my legs and making it cold. Nowhere else.
Did I mention the stairs? Whoever constructed it should be beaten severally. Going up the stairs feels like you are hiking because of the angle and shape. Coming down feels like you would fall any minute.
The only good thing out of this was the receptionist (Adewunmi). She explained that the hotel was under new management. The past management had abandoned the hotel and left it in a deplorable state. Sadly, the new management has also not decided to renovate the rooms yet.
I would definitely not revisit and wouldn't advice anyone to, till the new management fixes the hotel up. It has so much potential as it's located close to Ikeja City Mall and Ojota.
