Well built train station with a poor access road. The emptiness makes for a desolate environment while waiting for the train. These stations will be well served having vending machines, ATMs and at least a few TV screens broadcasting the local news/entertainment.

Can't fail to mention the timeliness of the service, it is astounding! I hope this is maintained ????????

It's the only train station in ib. It's just there, nothing so fantastic about it ????. Trains just hold some sort of monopoly cos there's not a lot of them in Nigeria. I used the standard fare of ₦2600. It's not usually busy or anything and it's almost as if there's no electricity in the waiting areas.
It's also important to note that you can't order and uber or bolt from the train station, YOU HAVE TO USE THEIR cabs or someone you know can come pick you up. It's for your safety I guess. That would be all for now.

The train station is located along Ibadan/Iseyin road. It is about 5 minutes drive from Moniya motor park. The train station is well organized and secured. From Ibadan to Lagos the fee is N2,600 while Ibadan to Abeokuta is N600 for economy class respectfully.

It was a peaceful and comfy train ride from Ibadan to Lagos. The station itself is new and modern though still under construction. The shops at the train station haven’t started functioning either, so it helps to carry your food. The train was modern and well equipped though no food service on the 2.5 hour train ride and also the Air-conditioning can get pretty cold, so it helps to carry a shawl, a jacket and dress warmly.

Neat environment, spacious parking lot and sitting arrangement.

The customer service is orderly, prompt and friendly.

I loved my experience there.

It’s easier to navigate if you have a rider waiting for you. To make it easier , I’d advice that if you frequently visit you can always save your riders number , instead of having to wait on rider using popular hailing platform apps.

For security, use cabs with train station car park access and ID cards
