The premier hall of the University of Ibadan. First Male Hostel. Named after Kenneth Mellanby, located at the back of University of Ibadan bookshop.

Mellamby Hall of residence is the premier hall in the University of Ibadan with brilliant and creative individuals. Most of the alumni of the hall are well to do and socially stratified especially in Academics.

Mellamby Hall has enough space for recreational activities, reading room though could be hot in the day but cool for till day break exam prep. You can get good food at the restaurants and shawarma/Indomie spot in the hall. Some part of the hall is UI NASU headquarter.

It is located close to University of Ibadan Bookshop, Tedder Hall of residence and Trenchard Event Hall.

Most of the residents in mellamby hall are well cultured, classical and easy going students with little or no flair for violence.

I was fortunate to stay in the Premier hall of the Premier University of Ibadan. Mellanby hall proximity to the school management is one of the reason why is the best. The hostel and recreational facilities are classy and the restaurant will serve you to your taste...

This is very good hostel, the premier hall of residence in university of Ibadan. The rooms are big enough to accommodate three occupants and the finalist block is usually two-man rooms. Advantages of staying here is the fact that it is located close to the central administrative area and the school area. Though they sometimes have epileptic power supply, that seems to be an Irony. It is also located close to the Onosode Park popularly called the Love Garden and the heritage park too.

Nose masks are required before entry into the hall. I especially love the structure and architecture of the building.

The Premier Hall in the Premier University. I enjoyed my 5-year sojourn in this prestigious Hall. All sorts of enjoyment one could ever think of. Starting from inter-floor football competitions to the Mellanby league and all sorts of evening and early morning weekend footballs. You can be rest assured to watch almost all the EPL matches and UCL.
