I admit I had high expectations for Martha's Kitchen before finally dining in, their staff definitely need to work on their non-verbal communication skills, they seemed nonchalant about their service to us that night regardless of the fact that we had gone to make reservations for the event two days prior also maybe it was just me or they didn't care about the presentation of the main dishes too, we got served in a steel plate (picture 3) that looked like a mixing bowl, not a complaint per se but that was definitely my first time seeing something like that. The food was good and we had fun regardless. Lastly they could work a bit on their ambience, especially the lighting.

Enjoyed our evening!

Bisi was pleasant and courteous. However, they need to work on order time and the availability of menu options. Caution staff on careless talks and raised voices. As usual, it was worth every dime.

The restaurant is quite popular and highly recommended, which inspired my visit.
The parking lot has a limited parking space, and I was forced to navigate to an adjoining facility to park without any form of direction from the security personnel.

I visited the restaurant in the company of about 8(eight) friends, and upon entry, we sat at a table that could accommodate us all. The restaurant seems aesthetically pleasing to the eye, although space management was very poor.

We were offered the menu book, and a quick perusal shows that the menu book seems to be lumped with a variety of meals charged at a high rate for different variations of rice, chicken etc., this made the decision to pick varying meals arduous.

The waitress was quite pleasant, though she seemed over worked as she had to cater to other customers and those who came to pick up orders.

We were informed by the waitress that the meals would be ready in 30min, however, it took about 1 hr to get our orders delivered, and there was no follow up or apology from the management; infact, some of my co-diners were about leaving the restaurant due to the laxity in service delivery, and we ended up with take away packs which we still paid for.
The chicken isnt so tender, and the drinks served were not iced, while the ice bucket didn't contain ample ice for such a large table.
In all, the experience was below par, and I had to make my displeasure known to one of the supervising staff at hand.

I liked the experience here, the food I ate was very lovely, but that could be relative anyway. But really, it was lovely.

However, the waiting time here can be extremely frustrating, since they have to prepare the meal afresh. I waited 1hour 12minutes with my team, to be able to get a pounded Yam, Egusi and Baracuda fish. Yeah, it is that long. Don't go there if you are extremely hungry.

Overall, it is a nice place for a good meal and just to hangout.

The space has been completely remodelled to accommodate more people and with better interior decor. The ambience of the space is also on point. The reason I'm giving a 4 is because of the meal prep time, I was told 30 mins but it exceeded 30 mins. Also, the portion of rice is a bit small. Btw, what I ordered for was Special chicken fried rice and shredded chicken sauce. Overall, it was a nice experience.

Too many flies, we had to change tables 3 times yet we were disturbed all through with flies flying around.

We killed at least 8 flies, yet it was a struggle eating and covering our food.

We would have enjoyed the place if not for these flies which were in their large numbers.

They should do something about this, it's a premium restaurant and this should NEVER have happened.

It would take a lot of convincing to visit the place again.
