My visit there was amazing, a very conducive outdoor environment that didn’t have a single insect disturbance. I love everything including the live band and an extremely affordable menu.
Meals were delivered in less than 10 minutes after orders where placed. It’s the best I have seen so far in Ibadan ❤️❤️.

Apparently one of the cool spots in Ibadan located after Ace mall along Awolowo Avenue, Bodija. The food was relatively cheap and the environment was very serene, with good music - I particularly loved the DJs music selection on my first visit.

Cocoa Bean is located along Awolowo Road, Bodija, Ibadan. I visited on a Sunday evening and the place was crowded. Live music was being performed and the speakers were quite loud just like any regular sit out in Ibadan.

If you are not a fan of music and you need serenity and peace while enjoying your meal, then Cocoa Bean Cafe is not for you.

The service and customer service in general was trash. It took a while before someone came around to give us the menu and it was just thrown at us, no form of courtesy or acknowledgment.

The waiter flung the menu at our table without saying anything to us, came back to take our order about 10 minutes later. We waited another 20 minutes to get our order and the waited kept flinging the plate of food on the table in order of which one got ready first. The table wasn’t even cleaned for us.

There were no apologies offered too. We were served as if animals were being fed. ????u200d♀️ No tray too. I believe our order should have been brought out at the same time.

Receiving payment from us was also a herculean task. We signaled to the waiter several times to come and receive payment from us so we could leave, but that took an extra 15 minutes. We had to drop the cash under our plate, headed out and let her know we dropped the money on the table on our way out. She ran to go and pick it up.

- No organization
- Few waiters for such a large crowd
- Might be less busy during weekdays

Will I be going back there? NEVER!!

Amazing location in Bodija, Ibadan. Very accessible to Songo junction, Awolowo Avenue. I went there in the day but I believe it's a club and lounge at night.

It's a nice place to hangout with friends and love ones. Lot of games and fun out here.
Trust me, you will enjoy your time out here, its really loaded.

Nice atmosphere, nice servers. I ate their peppered cube cut beef, and I think it was nice. The prices of their drinks are fair. You can even hold small party within. They also have car park

Cocoa bean is chill and nice. They have salsa on Mondays and Karaoke on Thursdays. They also have live band on Sundays. No shots tho, which is a bit disappointing, and they have technical issues sometimes. Asides those, it's a great place to lounge with your friends.
