This hotel needs complete overhauling!
Judging from the aging structure, it's obvious that this place must have been a sight to behold in its earlier years.

To start with, many of the services they promise are either not available or are used as advertising bait.
Even when the group I came with completely booked all available rooms, we were not given air-conditioning untill later in the evening. A fan was brought to my N30,000 per night room!

My highly priced room had only one functioning electric socket. No remote control for the A/C; No cable channel for TV; No Towel or toiletries. The cabinet for room refrigerator was empty! The glass dinning table was broken and had to lean on the wall to support the two bad legs. None of the bedside lamps worked. Intercom didn't work either.

I had planned to spend an extra night there after my function, but had to check out after having a good talk with the available staff and expressing my all-round displeasure.
Amazingly, I checked into another hotel just a minute drive from here. No doubt the second hotel (which was more affordable) got my 5 stars rating, as they had all (and more) that Ashosh lacked.

It was a very poor and hard experience. The hotel should be closed down. Customers are tricked to lodge in and be eventually left alone. Can you imagine staying in a hotel without water ???? running. The toilet odor wakes you up in the midnight. And above all, you leave the next day without bathing ???? ????..
ASHOSH is a big SCAM.

Unfortunately, I didn't have a good experience.
- Did a bulk booking, we were guaranteed power through the night but we were decived.

- Staff weren't honest. Apparently, they were hoping PHCN would supply power.

- Small generator was used but it couldn't power ACs

- Miserable. Seems like a low maintenance issue.

- The glory days are behind

The only good thing is the location of the hotel.

The entire hotel is in need of renovations. No hot water you have to go downstairs to ask for one. I did not have a control on the air conditioner in my room. It was controlled from downstairs. I had a tiny mouse for a roommate. Other than this it was ok for a quick stop. If renovated it has the potential of being one of the best hotel.

Only if this facility could be properly maintained. They have nice rooms and lovely environment to unwind, but what is the point of all that when the most important and minor things like plumbing issues should be fixed in the rooms. Water everywhere and taps not even running in some cases.

How will you describe people in the hospitality business who are not hospitable in the real sense of it? Apart from having a facility not well maintained, they seem too poor in customer service and I'm very wary of the security as well. The place isn't too bad after all, but sincerely it's not a place I will recommend
