They have rude old nurses there. Always taking their angers out on students who do not feel well.

Needs work. This is the central medical centre of an entire federal university for crying out loud. They need massive renovations, more patient friendly attendants and definitely more hours of work. On the bright side, the ambulance service is top notch and should keep up the good work. I know efforts are being made to amp up the establishment.

The Unizik Medical Center is located close to the school second gate on your way from Awka town. Opposite Glory Chapel.This is a full fledged Hospital with facilities for Radiography taking care of students need for X-ray, Medical Laboratory for blood test and the likes, Ambulance services etc. However students going for medical examination should note that there are designated days for each faculty apart from PG that happens everyday. Ensure that you go with a photocopy of your verified remita copy of the medical fees you paid. Above all go as early as 8am.

This is the official Clinic inside NAU-Awka. It has well trained nurses and enough medical facilities for a clinic
