it a city center with alot of activites going on which include football game,basket ball,volleyball,long tennis ball,parade ground ,it a place where event can be held also with a lot of parking space to consider.

I really liked this place. The environment is nice with a lots of space and can accommodate over a thousand people. I would recommend it for large gathering. The location is easily accessible. It is a really nice place to be at.. you can have a picnic here. Sweet place for loners.

Alex Ekwueme square is a very popular place in Anambra state, Nigeria. It is very wide and spacious like a mini stadium. Social, political, educational activities and others are being performed here.

This is where the Governor of the state hosts, celebrates and recognizes the government holidays events like workers day, children's day, democracy day, independent days and other similar events in Awka.

The environment, needs some little touches especially outside the walls. Most of the time the people whose duties are to clear the grasses around the fence that some times looks as if it is turning to bushes don't do their work regularly.

That's the only place that can host all Anambra activities including international trade fairs. It's spacious and affordable. It's located inside the heart of Awka. It's opposite OMA centre, and close to Anambra State Universal Basic Education Board (ASUBEB) /Anambra State House of Assembly. Anambra State Government, uses it for major invents like Anambra State cultural day etc

It has a really big land mass to accommodate a large number of people. The structure is nice too.
