Worst customer service ever!
Bought a new smartbox and it turned out it was defective, attempted to return same day and I was supposed to wait for whatever confirmation to get a replacement!

They tried but I feel you have faster ways of attending to customers now.
Once you call in customer, you can give them forms to feel ahead pending what they are there for. Personally, I went for sim card welcome back and we were like seven in number and it took 2hrs plus to get to my turn and another 19mins to be attended to.
Secondly, the customer care people need to do much by keeping their customers in the loop, they must be accountable. You can't be on duty, you have a customer standing before you and you just walk out to attend to some personal issues without excusing the customer infront of you. I witness one of them just walked out to bring in a senior friend and was gone for about 8mins. He came back with the man and I think the man came to buy modem. You show professionalism. We know it's bored and tiring working longer hours but there's so many ways you go about things.

Excellent, the service was great. We had to obey COVID-19 protocols but aside from that it was smooth. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes.

Airtel Shop Awka which I visited is the one located at the boundary between Amawbia and Awka. It has a large parking space in front of the office. They have customers service attendants that are very dutiful. They have many workers attending to people. The office had many sits for customers. They were very orderly and prompt at attending to customers. A well air-conditioned office and they made sure people observed covid-19 protocols. I did my NIN registration there and collected it already. They carry out all Airtel Services there.
Those with wheelchairs can also go there and enter comfortably.

Very poor and shabbily structured, in fact govt or public spirited groups or individual can bring the needed change.... if possible.

This is the main Airtel office at Awka, along Amawbia Road, beside Ifenna fuel station. I had a nice customer service experience. The agents were friendly and professional in their interactions with the customer. The atmosphere was warm, with enough seats for waiting customers to relax. Though there is need to improve the speed of attending to customers, but overall Airtel is doing great.
